April 15th, 2011

Halo Reach (360): Some decent progress. It's a little repetitive, and it seems like it takes a bit longer to unlock stuff than it should. Then again, there doesn't seem to be as much to unlock as in other games. Still, I'm enjoying it - Tab mentioned playing online with her and her friends, so I might give it a go sometimes.

Halo Waypoint (360): Browsing!

Magic the Gathering - Duel of the Planeswalkers (360): No progress today, just a couple failed matches against Garrok or something. The green guy, like third match in!

World of Warcraft (PC): Grinded Dyne close to 78, then finished later with Teeva in Sholazar Basin. Did all my dailies... still bumming about the Cinnaris situation, but so it goes! Grooming Dyne to be #1, I guess!

Dynasty Warriors 7 (360): Unlocked Pang Tong and Cai Wenji, as well as some quick random stages. That's about it!

World of Warcraft (PC): Wasn't feeling very MMO-ey, so just did some dailies across some alts! Knocked out a few quests on Dyne as well. Weird, you can attack non-aggressive Frost Nymphs, even after helping them out!

April 5th, 2011

Dynasty Warriors 7 (360): Some good progress today! Various random battles to the point where I can access almost every square on the map. Unlocked Lu Bu as well, although his main weapon is currently at the Blacksmith's - d'oh!

Tenchu Shadow Assault (360): Played for like two seconds. It's kinda weird, not sure if I like it. I wish we'd get a Tenchu Z sequel with a more in-depth create-a-character!

World of Warcraft (PC): A bunch of dailies, a random dungeon on Rube, Baradin Hold dailies as Cinnaris, some farming, some questing in Howling Fjord as Dyne. Not bad at all!

Later, while I was trying to add Crimson Scarlet Crusaders to the WoW Model Viewer, I got my arm twisted in doing a random as Cinnaris, which was fairly successful at least. On the Model Viewer note, it took quite a bit of time and some excursions as Omphale in 3.3.5, but I did finally get them all sorted out and added satisfactorily!

World of Warcraft 3.3.5a (PC): Played around a bit as Omphale. Turns out the Scarlet Oracle Demetria spawns through a Horde quest, and it was slow going as a new Hordie, a Blood Elf DK named Ordellia(DKs don't even get to do the starting DK questline!), so I gave up there. Went to go see the Onslaught in Icecrown later into the night with the hopes of confirming Onslaught for the Model Viewer, and, of course, cold weather flying is 50k, and the mobs didn't spawn except for one lone, non-flying Gryphon Rider. What a bust! I might ditch this server.

April 4th, 2011

Short day! Was up late Sunday, slept late today, and then crashed fairly shortly after it all for a bit.

Dynasty Warriors 7 (360): Some more progress, including getting some animal guardians and unlocking Lian Shi as a playable character! It took a bit - stupid me, you can equip weapons during battle, so all I needed to do was give her a super upgraded one! Got Wang Yuanji unlocked and set as a Sworn Ally, as well.

Wrestlemania XXVII! ...and a rather lackluster one, at that! Still fun. My match predictions ended up 3-4-1, not very good. The "1" is from the Sheamus/Bryan match that got bumped to a dark match and ended in a No Context, blech.

Dynasty Warriors 7 (360): Really got into it tonight, and rather accidentally! Made a ton of progress in Conquest, got the gorgeous Lian Shi as my "Sworn Ally", and ended up genuinely liking her character. Made quite a bit of progress across the land. It's no Empires, but it is a fun enough mode!

World of Warcraft (PC): Not much at all. A daily or two on Dyne, and that's about it!

April 2nd, 2011

World of Warcraft (PC): Another Executioner sold! Did several runs as Rubescent, mostly in the Scarlet Monastery. Got some Seaforium plans and various other things to transfer over, like mithril that was selling for far more Hordeside than Allianceside. Rube's got FA capped and Engineering close, with charges to blow up chests now. Yay!

WWE All-Stars (360): To some effort, but I finally finished up my unlocking by defeating Kane as Jimmy Snuka in a cage match during Fantasy Warfare. Should be ready for Sunday, yay!

April 1st, 2011

World of Warcraft (PC): Did some TB dailies and a random dungeon as Cinnaris. The tank did not have Righteous Fury on, and it took a good three fourths of the run and me taking roughly equal damage as he did (it was like 34% to 32% between him and myself!) for us to get him to use it, which took me finally saying, "Know what's a good Paladin ability? [Righterous Fury]." Even better was when Tavia initiated a vote to kick him, and the vote failed, implying that the other two weeniesaurs were entirely unfamiliar with the issue.

We also beat up Isistet! She was a brick house. Get it, 'cause she's all big and stoney and stuff?

Helped a random person smelt some Hardened Elementium, did some dailies on Dyne, transferred some stuff to Rube, then did some Scarlet Monastery runs (poor Trainees!), then Tam got mad at me for using my own enchants. Even though hers weren't what I wanted, and I wasn't thinking about that anyway. -_-;

Did a couple more dailies at TB Peninsula as Cinnaris, and that was that!

WWE All-Stars (360): Just working on finishing unlocks. Got Kane, Drew McIntyre, Shawn Michaels, and the Miz unlocked. Attempted getting Snuka done, but ended up giving up and unlocking Sgt. Slaughter, leaving only Snuka.

Started playing in the Randy Orton storyline as Ultimate Warrior, as well, and made it a few matches in. It's weird, but playing as Warrior, I feel like I've gotta make them squash matches, and feel confident I can do it. And so far, that's exactly how it's gone!

Also received the dreaded Red Ring of Death for about the half-dozenth time! It worked fine after that, but this 360 as it is is out of warranty, and already replaced once.

Lemme think how many I've had... my original 360 bought at GameStop was DOA, and I sold the replacement. Bought a second one coming out of Basic from a friend, and that one died, replaced for free with the current one downstairs. Bought an Arcade system in Cuba, and that one died (and I sold it to Bevis on the grounds that he could get it replaced for free, but he never got around to it - why do I feel bad about that when he knew the conditions going into it and never replaced it on his own free time, of which he had a lot of?).

So if this one dies, that makes it four. Eek.
