Final Fantasy XI (PC): Meanwhile, I think around the Joust-game time, I was multitasking, and somewhat playing XI! Naturally, nothing good happened this Besieged, simply because I was there, I'm sure. Medusa wasn't defeated, nor did we lose the Astral Candescence, two things I'd like to see (particularly the latter, as I've witnessed the former from far). Ah well!
Hopefully I can get more into XI again soon!
Phantasy Star Universe (360): Just did a quick, partial run of the first Icebreak mission! Can't get myself motivated.
Sonic 3 & Knuckles (360): Just played briefly as Sonic into the first couple stages. The graphics look rough at this resolution, but still a fun game! And I looooove the music!
World of Warcraft (PC): Didn't get started till late, and got involved in some ill-fated PvP when a buncha Horde guys were in Goldshire, heheh. Still, we ran them off, even if I was a casualty when all is said and done!
From there, it was back to Hyjal, and after a few quests I was forced to do "A Bird in Hand", one I was trying to avoid. In it, you capture a harpy leader, and are given the option to torture it despite it freely giving you information, and afterward, you can choose to kill or free her. My buddy disgustingly killed her yesterday (even after lamenting things like GTA and an earlier torture quest!), and even worse, it counted for me too, so I had abandoned the quest.
We do enough shady stuff in WoW as it is, I'm NOT gonna straight kill a defenseless person in cold blood. Worse yet, the previous torture quest, where you did NOT kill the guy at the end, caused all sorts of controversy, and nobody's batting an eye at this one. Heck, some people who even refused to do the first torture one, where the guy didn't die, KILLED the victim this time around. Fucked up morals there. <_<
Anyway! From there we went back after Twilight, and did a horrible mission that was an homage to the classic game, Joust. But the mission was painful, and rough for Tam, but at least we got lil mini Jouster companions!
From there, we entered a five man raid, and actually beat the first of two bosses. Took a few tries, but once we had a strategery down, we two-manned it, and I'll post the video to YouTube later.
Before we made our escape, Tam insisted on fighting a random mob, so I let her duke it out, and a took a while, but I certainly wasn't going to help if she wanted to play around and attack mobs who weren't aggroing. x_x
I ended the night doing a bunch of elementium farming. Slowly but surely I'm getting smithing close to cap!

Dead Rising: Case West (360): Just started, only a little into it. It's neat to see Frank again, but unfortunately, I have yet to get to PLAY as him! There's also no save data that transfers over, so you start at L40, and the factory setting thus far is pretty bland.
I guess you could say I'm not overly impressed, especially considering this was 800 MS points - er, ten bucks - as opposed to Case Zero being a mere $5. But I'll play through it and beat it regardless, and hopefully at some point get a chance to control Frank.
Dead Rising 3 is confirmed anyway, and I hear Case West is really just a bridge for 2 to 3.
Final Fantasy XI (PC): Not much, opened a few Starlight boxes and got WAR a level. If I stick with XI, it'll probably eventually become a sub for DRG when more firepower is needed.
Final Fantasy XIV (PC): Got Cinnaris his gifts, got Temporarea-whatever her gift and timer started, then "bought" all the rest of the character slots. Made a male galka named "Xmas Giftguyforcinna" and a female lalafell named "Cinnariss Xmasmidget" and got both their initial gifts and timers started too!
Maids with Balloons (360): The game is horrible, but there's a handful of cutscenes with real life maids, looking like they were pulled right from an anime convention, spouting generic, awful anime dialog. And yet, I paid the $1 for it.
Hey, the girls are cute!
Phantasy Star Universe: Ambition of the Illuminus (360): Both refreshing to be back to PSU and frustrating that everything I knew about it is gone. Did do a quick run of the Absolute Zero event and got some new music outta it. I'm telling myself I need to level hard now during the even and get back to the S, S2 and S3 ranks, but we'll see! A lot on my gaming plate lately!

With Phantasy Star Portable 2 coming out tomorrow and Final Fantasy XIV a week later, the big issue is, what MMO gets my time?! There's still things on XI that I'd like to accomplish as well! They've all got their pros and cons: XI has a ton of content left and I'm already established, and level cap increases will only make it easier (going from 75 to 99 by the end of the year, and levels mean a ton in XI), but it's also an eight year old game, meaning it's lifespan is probably shorter than XIV's and it does look/feel older.
Final Fantasy XIV is gorgeous and new, but also has some issues. It runs far from optimized (it's taken player-made tools to make it run quicker, give it a hardware mouse and allow you to tab out!), and the Fatigue System is just bad precedent and an overall annoyance.
Phantasy Star Portable 2 is honestly what I'd like to play, but the whole portable aspect is an unfortunate turnoff. It might look great (for a portable) and be a nice improvement for Phantasy Star Universe, but it'll always be limited. It's harder to communicate on portables, and that's a big issue for MMOs. Although I expect my circle of friends to end up a lot smaller than XI, it'd be fantastic to play with Helena again!
What will happen? We'll see!
Afterburner Climax (360): Played for like... one life. So it was pretty quick!
Final Fantasy XI (PC): Feed the bird, Hamartia (Bevis) gave me all his stuff so he could cancel his account, hit up an Undead Swarm Besieged, then stopped by a rather miserable Abyssea party. It started off well enough till a Notorious Monster spawned and wreaked havoc! Still, I got *a* Merit Point and four of the five Kindred Crests I need, so it wasn't awful.

Tenchu Z (360): Just played a little more, did a few missions. I'd like to start unlocking more of the skills for my female ninja, but it takes a while! Hundreds of Steath Kills, and I still suck at stealth!
Does turn out an old PC/PS2 PSU buddy plays, so we might hit up the multiplayer sometime soon!
