Final Fantasy XI (PC): Meanwhile, I think around the Joust-game time, I was multitasking, and somewhat playing XI! Naturally, nothing good happened this Besieged, simply because I was there, I'm sure. Medusa wasn't defeated, nor did we lose the Astral Candescence, two things I'd like to see (particularly the latter, as I've witnessed the former from far). Ah well!
Hopefully I can get more into XI again soon!
Phantasy Star Universe (360): Just did a quick, partial run of the first Icebreak mission! Can't get myself motivated.
Sonic 3 & Knuckles (360): Just played briefly as Sonic into the first couple stages. The graphics look rough at this resolution, but still a fun game! And I looooove the music!
World of Warcraft (PC): Didn't get started till late, and got involved in some ill-fated PvP when a buncha Horde guys were in Goldshire, heheh. Still, we ran them off, even if I was a casualty when all is said and done!
From there, it was back to Hyjal, and after a few quests I was forced to do "A Bird in Hand", one I was trying to avoid. In it, you capture a harpy leader, and are given the option to torture it despite it freely giving you information, and afterward, you can choose to kill or free her. My buddy disgustingly killed her yesterday (even after lamenting things like GTA and an earlier torture quest!), and even worse, it counted for me too, so I had abandoned the quest.
We do enough shady stuff in WoW as it is, I'm NOT gonna straight kill a defenseless person in cold blood. Worse yet, the previous torture quest, where you did NOT kill the guy at the end, caused all sorts of controversy, and nobody's batting an eye at this one. Heck, some people who even refused to do the first torture one, where the guy didn't die, KILLED the victim this time around. Fucked up morals there. <_<
Anyway! From there we went back after Twilight, and did a horrible mission that was an homage to the classic game, Joust. But the mission was painful, and rough for Tam, but at least we got lil mini Jouster companions!
From there, we entered a five man raid, and actually beat the first of two bosses. Took a few tries, but once we had a strategery down, we two-manned it, and I'll post the video to YouTube later.
Before we made our escape, Tam insisted on fighting a random mob, so I let her duke it out, and a took a while, but I certainly wasn't going to help if she wanted to play around and attack mobs who weren't aggroing. x_x
I ended the night doing a bunch of elementium farming. Slowly but surely I'm getting smithing close to cap!
