January 6th, 2010

Final Fantasy XIV (PC): Nothing but ringing the bells for free gifts, heheh. Not that I don't have a million samurai helmets already, and that I don't have the skills to make the white and black ones. Oh well!

World of Warcraft (PC): Started the day by doing some mining in Hyjal, then hit up the Argent Tournament area to be ready after Smackdown. After the show, did my Tournament dailies and finished up Gnomeregan, and made my biggest sale ever at 240 gold for a Hardened Obsidium Helm. Finished up a couple quests in the Icecrown/Crystalsong area, bought some glyphs, then moved on to assist Tam in Hyjal quests.

We basically took care of them all, everything from freeing godlike creatures to pretending to be Twilight to eventually defeating them and the boss in a big ol', rather neat fight. Some of the quests were odd, like chucking scared bear cubs from a tree onto a trampoline below, some where annoying, like having to kill Twilight failures, some were cute, like leading around baby turtles (mine died >_<), and some were neat, like one that involved giving a speech by choosing responses based on crowd reaction. There was also dressing up as ogres and flying dragons, so it was pretty varied.

As a side note, Twilight Augurs look cool, and they remind me of Theresa from Fable, particularly the first one, as they wear a bandannas over her eyes.

From there, headed back north, did the new day's Argent dailies (this time for Darnassus), and called it a night, finally!
