Final Fantasy XIV (PC): Hit PGL L20! Slowly but surely!

Vindictus (PC): Gave it a little go, creating a character that was Natsu-esque who I for some reason named Omphale. Oops, wasn't thinking, no wonder it didn't seem right! Anyway, the game seems neat, but I have two major complaints thus far.

First, and worst, it's a Nexon game, so it's free to play, but many of the little things cost. For example, your character creator only has about 1/4th of the total number of items available, and you've got to purchase the rest individually. Worse yet, you can't simply "buy" the game and have everything available. I haaaate stuff like that - let me just buy the game as a whole and have everything available!

Second, the controls are really weird. With the settings I choose, one of the two defaults, you move around with the keyboard and mouse, and targetting is weird. You have to swing the camera behind you to attack in a given direction. That is, you can't just turn your PC and make them attack in a given direction, they always attack where the camera is facing, not where the PC is. But this assumedly will get better with practice and tweaking, would love to use a controller for this!

Anyway, graphics are gorgeous and conducive to making a Natsu, so I may give it another shot soon!

World of Warcraft (PC): Did a quick quest on Dyne, then hit up Obme and did some of the newer deals in Darkshore and did up to where I had to kill a few Darkscale Priestesses before I threw in the towel there. Did some brief farming on Cinnaris and got an Elementium Geode, a lil companion thingy I have yet to use. Tam's kinda wanted one - maybe I should send it to her?

Later, after some FFXIV and Vindictus, I did some farming as Cinnaris, then checked out Tol Barad. Did a quest or two, but rather failed at the objective, directly attacking the Orc encampment instead of the individual locations. Whoops!

Hung out with T, she had some potions of illusion that turned her into her target or something, so Cinnaris got to dance with himself, hah. Did some more archaeology, scouted the Scarlet Monastery (even the Scarlet Converts are gone from Tirisfal!), and it turns out you don't need a key anymore to get to the next two areas, which might save some SC death later!

Sadly, I still need 3x Scarlet pieces, and a tabard!

Hit up Dyne, and we went to move to Kalimdor, only to find I can't do the Thousand Needles quests like Tam can - she apparently did some quests to lead up to 'em that we didn't know we needed to do! So I swam down to Tanaris, and we did a couple quests there.
