Final Fantasy XI (PC): So that Besieged I specifically checked for yesterday and forgot about? We LOST THE ASTAL CANDESCENCE. To the Swarm, no less, so I could've got my AC-loss cutscene, and to my favorite mobs, no less! Soooooooo mad at myself!
Final Fantasy XIV (PC): Rang the bells for my gifts... AND did a couple leves as Cinnaris! He's now a Pug L15. Seems to be getting quite a chunk of EXP on these levels, he went from about 1/3 into 14 to halfway through 15! Gotta get my butt into gear.
Sadly, the frame rate seems to shoot up to 40s-50s at the highest settings while I'm rocking 720p. I haaaate using that much smaller a resolution, but it is infinitely more playable that way, and at this point I might as well play it at a lower res than not at all!
Game Room (360): Didn't actually play anything, just goofed around and got it updated. The prices just seem too much. $3 for an Atari 2600 game I can download for a buck, or free, elsewhere? Sega games I can get on a $20 Sega Genesis Collection with several dozen others?
Neat concept, just too expensive!
Sonic 3 & Knuckles (360): Played through much of the first area as Sonic, got the first emerald (yay! Blue Spheres is fun!) and then saved right before accidentally failing at my second shoot at one. Whoops!
World of Warcraft (PC): Did my AT stuff, then hit up Uldum - whoa, there's a strategy mini-game in WoW. What a novel idea, making Warcraft into a realtime strategy game! Before leaving, just to get some levels, we finished up the Indiana Jones parody, which included a scene where a "Schnotz" guy, beating up Harrison Jones, got sliced up by the propeller on a plane. Classic!
Did the Twilight Highlands opening campaign, only to find out that I need to be *85* for most of the recipes, and that I need to buy them at TWENTY elementium bars a piece. There's big competition for elementium right now since it's an endgame mat. That was all pretty demoralizing, so I did some mining, did some archaeology, then chunked the deuces!
