World of Warcraft (PC): After the insanity described below, hit up real WoW, and Tessana gave me a ride up to the Hinterlands using her multi-rider elephant - pretty neat! Then I "Friend Summoned" Trinta and we did a couple missions, with Dyne ending up at L34. Not bad!

World of Warcraft 3.3.5a (PC): After some playing around, failing to properly connect to Eternal WoW, and then again to Neverendless WoW, I finally got connected to an instant-80 server, Mond. It's not quite instant 80, as it took me a chunk of the day to hit 85 (yes, 85, on a pre-Cata sever!), and it's also incredibly unprofessional. The people are friendly and helpful, but spelling errors abound, new equipment is horribly unbalanced, there's a warp stone you have with no cooldown that takes you just about anywhere, and the "new" content is gaudy, poorly-laid out Christmas stuff and oversize mobs like "Double head dog[sic]".

But I liked it enough to pay $10 for Silver VIP Membership for Omphale (this time a Human Paladin), which has the first tier of insanely overpowered weaponry as well as dual-wielding for every class. So I hacked away through various instances, usually only having to kill a handful of mobs before I'd level.

Luckily, the vast amount of the world seems to be relatively untouched, only the big cities have changes, so this is what I want: easy, overpowered, and I can explore pre-Cata Azeroth. It culminated in a L85 Omphale, with more than a million HP and almost double that in MP, taking forty minutes to solo the Horde "Santa Claus," a giant Blood Elf female in the sexy Christmas outfit, a mission tasked me by a giant gnome female in a similar outfit (but red instead of green).

So I eventually defeated the 250 million HP Bad Santa and got an insanely overpowered ring, and learned the quest was a daily! Pure insanity, but the server should fulfill my desires to have a pre-Cata reference I can easily explore.
